Sudbury Youth Appears in Professional Production in Boston

Whitney Sandford stars in The Phantom Tollbooth.

Whitney Sandford of Sudbury returns to Wheelock Family Theater in Boston to perform in The Phantom Tollboth from Oct. 21 to Nov. 20. She has previously appeared in ANNIE (Kate) and Charlotte’s Web (Narrator).

Most recently, she was seen as Little Sally in Urinetown with the Nobles Theatre Collective. Other favorite credits include Fiddler on the Roof (Bielke) with the Wellesley Players, Full (Angie) at the Turtle Lane Young Actors Winter Festival, the national tour of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Orphan, Boston Company), and Eurydice (Little Stone) at the New Rep.

In addition, Whitney, 13, was a member of the Friends of Broadway for four years and has performed with Reagle Music Theatre, Metrowest Family Theater, Worcester County Light Opera, the Weston Friendly Society, and Needham Community Theatre.
