Sudbury's Building: El Basha, Yoga, Furnishings Store Coming Soon
The Building Department reports that the Raytheon Building is being torn down, and there is interest in the old Friendly's.
SUDBURY, MA—The Building Department welcomed Andrew Lewis, a lifetime Sudbury resident with more than 20 years in the construction trade, as its new assistant building inspector.
In its newsletter, the Building Department also reported on several projects in its July newsletter.
The department has been busy inspecting summer camps and semi-public pools, in collaboration with the Fire Department and Board of Health.

The Subdivision on Anthon Drive recently welcomed its first occupant, and Cutting Lane has its first building permit.
The department also reported that fitups for Barre 3 Yoga Studio, Renascence Home Furnishings and El Basha Restaurant are underway, and there has been some interest shown in the former Friendly’s property.

National Development has started to bring in new utilities while preparing for demolition on the first half of the old Raytheon building.
