Sudbury's Election Results: 16 Percent Turned Out to Choose Parks and Rec. Commissioner, School Committee

SUDBURY, MA — With four contested races, Sudbury residents chose their candidates in the annual town election held on Monday, March 28.

There were 1,978 ballots cast, representing 16 percent of the town's 12,334 registered voters.

Here are the results:

Board of Selectmen:

• WINNER: Robert C. Haarde, 1,230 votes
• WINNER: Leonard A. Simon, 1,044 votes
• Brian Semple, 459 votes

Board of Health:

• WINNER: Carol A. Bradford, 1,370 votes

Sudbury Housing Authority:

• WINNER: Kaffee Kang, 1,193 votes

Board of Assessors:

• WINNER: Trevor A. Haydon, 1,274 votes

Park and Recreation Commissioner:

• WINNER: Richard C. Williamson, 901 votes
• WINNER: Mara L. Huston, 935 votes
• Paul Griffin, 662 votes
• Jeffrey Paul Winn, 405 votes

Sudbury School Committee:

• WINNER: Richard J. Tinsley, 809 votes
• Nell L. Forgacs, 479 votes
• Siobhan Condo Hullinger, 380 votes

Goodnow Library Trustree (Vote for 2):

• WINNER: Alan L. Gordon, 768 votes
• WINNER: Susan H. Johnson, 959 votes
• Ingrid J. Mayyasi, 726 votes

Planning Board:

• WINNER: Peter Job Abair 1,094 votes
• WINNER: Daniel E. Carty, 1,106 votes

Lincoln-Sudbury Regional District School Committee (Vote for 2):

• WINNER: Radha Raman Gargeya, 1,140 votes
