Sudbury's Housing Production Plan Updated

The town is sharing its most updated plan for housing.

SUDBURY, MA — Sudbury's preparing an update to the 2011 Housing Production Plan, one that is done every five years.

"By taking a proactive approach in keeping the Housing Production Plan active, the town is better able to achieve its affordable housing goals and avail itself of the protections under MGL c. 40B," said the announcement.

A workshop was held on Feb. 29 to receive public input on goals and strategies to include in the updated plan.

The Draft Housing Production Plan will be reviewed by the Board of Selectmen and the Planning Board on March 22 and 23,. Information on the Town’s current percentage of affordable housing, and looking into the future, can be found on the January 28, 2016 memo to the Planning Board and Board of Selectmen.
