Suspicious Men, Unlicensed Driver and More From the Sudbury Police Department

The following was reported by the Sudbury Police Department on April 19:

  • A person reported seeing a suspicious car with out-of-state plates in the parking lot in Mill Village. The responding officer did not find anything criminal in nature.
  • A Cider Mill Road resident reported seeing a sedan parked outside his home the previous night with two males inside. The men fled the area when approached by the resident. Extra checks in the neighborhood were performed by the police, but nothing was found.
  • Officers responded to a two-car accident on Peakham Road. No one was injured and minor damage was reported. One operator was cited at the scene for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. According to Lt. Scott Nix, the operator's license had expired.
  • A Haynes Road resident reported seeing a suspicious car. Responding officers determined it belonged to a member of the Sudbury Militia, which performed its annual march to Concord earlier in the day.
  • A motorist reported seeing a male with a black and white backpack and dark clothing walk into the ATM on Union Avenue. Person was gone when officers arrived. ATM checked out OK.
