There Are No Sex Offenders in Sudbury

SUDBURY, MA—For some of our neighboring Patches, we've been sharing sex offender maps as a safety guide for neighbors.

Sudbury currently has no Level 3 or Level 2 sex offenders living or working in the town, confirms Police Chief Scott Nix, who added that the department will be conducting offender compliance checks in the "near future."

The Level 3 designation is reserved for the most severe offenders, according to the state’s Sex Offender Registry Board. These types of sex offenders pose a ”high risk” to reoffend. They are not wanted by police—and it’s illegal to use the following information to commit a crime or engage in any discrimination or harassment against an offender.
