Third Congressional District: Niki Tsongas Wins

Democratic US Rep. Niki Tsongas has won her reelection bid to represent the 3rd Congressional District.

Tsongas easily held off challenger Ann Wofford. The Boston Globe had Tsongas winning handily, netting 67.4 percent with 19 percent reporting as of 9:30 p.m.

Tsongas, 70, has won this election in 2012 and 2014 after coming over from the 5th Congressional District following redistricting.

Her late husband Paul Tsongas also represented the 3rd Congressional District before becoming a US Senator.
