Two Sudbury Men Arrested, Charged After Alleged Housebreak Today

The following arrest information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Dutton Road resident contacted the Sudbury Police Department earlier today after witnessing an alleged housebreak on Dutton Road by two suspicious-looking men.

According to Lt. Scott Nix, officers responding to the neighborhood just after 2 p.m.

"We responded and were able to locate the men in the vehicle while trying to flee from the area," he said.

After responding officers completed an investigation, two Sudbury residents were taken into custody. 

Jeffrey McKinnon, 41, of 47 Old Meadow Road, Sudbury, was arrested and charged with:

  • Breaking and entering in the daytime to commit a felony;
  • Larceny from a building;
  • Conspiracy;
  • Possession of burglary tools;
  • Wanton destruction of property.

Also arrested was Kyle Sweet, 22, of 735 Boston Post Road, Sudbury. He is facing the same charges as McKinnon.

Both men are still in the custody of Sudbury police and are awaiting bail, Nix said.
