The Sudbury Police Department has an opening for a full-time police officer.

SUDBURY, MA — Have you ever thought of being a Sudbury police officer? There's a spot on the force for you.
The Sudbury Police Department is a non-civil service department seeking applications for the position of full-time police officer who are highly motivated with a positive attitude. Applicants who have graduated from a full time academy are preferred, said the announcement.
Sudbury has roughly 18,000 residents and the department has 28 officers.

"Our department offers a number of opportunities such as participation with Metro-LEC, motorcycle patrol, detectives, etc.," said the announcement.
The current salary starts at $52,281, and additional steps may be commensurate with experience. Benefits include town career incentive program, 70 percent health insurance paid by town, 70 percent tuition reimbursement, 11 paid holidays which can be used for pay or equivalent time off, night shift differential, sick leave bank.
