Weekend Happenings: Religious Services, Egg Hunts and Spring Stories

Looking for something do near home this weekend? We have some ideas.

When/Where: Saturday, all day along various roadways in Wayland.

Why Go: Get out and enjoy this lovely spring weather while helping keep Wayland's roadways litter free. There isn't a scheduled gathering place or event, just a general encouragement to help out. Volunteers can work anywhere they choose, but for areas that need special attention, click the link above.

Annual Egg Hunt

When/Where: Saturday at 9 a.m. on the Weston Town Green, 400 Boston Post Road, Weston.

Why Go: Cute kids, hidden treasures and a visit from the Spring Bunny. What more could you want?

Price: Free

When/Where: Friday at 10:30 a.m. and Saturday at 3 p.m. at Barefoot Books, 89 Thoreau St, Concord.

Why Go: This inexpensive event for children ages 2 and up features spring-themed stories as well as a craft.

Price: $4 per child. RSVPs are requested.
