West Newton Man Charged With Assaulting Mother in Sudbury

The following arrest information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A 911 call to the Sudbury Police Department on April 12 resulted in the arrest of a West Newton man.

According to Lt. Robert Grady, after responding officers arrived and completed an investigation, they found probable cause to arrest Jeremy C. Southgate, 22, of 10 Kilburn Road.

Southgate is facing charges of domestic assault and battery. Grady said Southgate was arrested for allegedly physically assaulting his mother.

Southgate was released at 10:26 p.m. and was scheduled to be arraigned at Framingham District Court on April 16.
