Westborough's Memorial Day Observance

Westborough’s Memorial Day activities take place on Monday, May 25.

Starting at 8 a.m. with coffee and doughnuts at the VFW Post on Milk Street, officials and participants then visit St. Luke’s Cemetery, Pine Grove Cemetery, Midland Cemetery and the memorials at the Forbes Municipal Building, starting at St. Luke’s Cemetery at 8:30 a.m.

Students from Westborough schools perform, and each stop also includes rifle fires, “Taps” and the National Anthem. Area Scouts also read the names of veterans who have died.

The ceremonies is followed by a cookout at the VFW.
