Where Do Sudbury, L-S Teachers Rank in Salary in Massachusetts?

Go to any school committee or Board of Selectmen meeting in Sudbury and chances are you will hear how the town is known for its schools.

But what about its teachers? If students are doing so well, are the town's teachers being paid enough compared to the rest of the state?

According to a Boston.com report, teachers at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School fared quite well in Massachusetts in 2011. The average salary for a L-S teacher was $82,985, which ranked 15th.

Sudbury Public Schools teachers weren't compensated quite as well. SPS teachers averaged $64,999, which placed them 205th.
