Would You Camp Out for Chick-fil-A Grand Opening?

Many started doing that on Wednesday morning for the grand opening in nearby Framingham on Thursday.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Individuals began pitching tents and waiting in line for the grand opening of the new Framingham restaurant on Wednesday morning.

The new restaurant will officially open on Thursday, Feb. 18 at 6:30 a.m. There was a VIP event on Monday and a media event today.

Framingham’s first Chick-fil-A restaurant, and the third franchise in Massachusetts, features a design using hand-made, authentic materials for a vintage-inspired interior, including a large gathering table made from reclaimed wood, subway tiles, and light fixtures made from recycled Coca-Cola bottles and peach baskets.

There is drive-thru service.

The restaurant will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and, as like all Chick-fil-A locations, will be closed on Sunday. The local franchise is owned and managed by Mark Parker, a Clinton resident.

Those pitching tents and waiting in line at the Shoppers World location already on Wednesday morning, are trying to be one of the first 100 adults through the door to win a year of Chick-fil-A meals.
