Yard Fire, Unruly ATV Riders and More From the Sudbury Police Log

The following was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

The following was reported by the Sudbury Police Department on April 16:

  • Officers responded to Blackmer Road for a report of a dispute between two neighbors. According to Lt. Scott Nix, the neighbors were arguing over their property line.
  • A person reported seeing a suspicious person the night before at Rugged Bear Plaza.
  • A Carriage Way resident called 911 to report her yard was on fire. Nix said the flames were quickly extinguished.
  • An Oakwood Avenue resident called 911 to report her young son and his friend were being harassed by people riding ATVs near the Willis Road dock. The person also reported the riders were smoking marijuana. They were gone when officers arrived.
  • An officer responded to the intersection of Boston Post Road and Concord Road for a report of a two-car accident. No injuries were reported and neither car was towed.
