1 Arrested, Gun Seized in Crips Gang Fight in Swampscott: ICYMI

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — A fight among Crips gang members on Erie Street in Swampscott Saturday resulted in one arrest and the seizure of a gun, police said.

Police said they were called to 22 Erie Street at about 3 a.m. for a report of a fight involving guns and knives. Officers said they encountered about 25 people, including "known" Crips gang members. Officers said they seized a .22-caliber handgun and arrested David Nardella, who lives at the apartment, on a warrant for destruction of property.
