1 Firefighter Injured In Swampscott Burrill Street House Blaze
A two-alarm fire broke in the second floor of a home on Burrill Street Wednesday night.
SWAMPSCOTT, MA —The Swampscott Police Union Local 1459 said one firefighter sustained minor injuries as Swampscott, Lynn, Peabody and Salem crews battled a two-alarm blaze on Burrill Street Wednesday night.
The union said four off-duty Swampscott firefighters were called on to staff reserve Engine 22, while the station received coverage from Revere, Chelsea and Danvers.
The cause of the fire was still under investigation on Thursday.

The union said one person in the building was able to get out safely as firefighters were arriving.
