2015 Annual Preservation and Restoration Awards
Swampscott's Historical Commission is looking for candidates for the 2015 Annual Preservation and Restoration Awards.
The Historical Commission invites residents to submit nominations for the 2015 Annual Preservation and Restoration Awards.
You can nominate yourself, a friend or a neighbor to celebrate their efforts to preserve and restore historic properties that maintain our town’s character and beauty. These properties can include residences, commercial buildings, or other structures whose preservation or restoration maintains or is faithful to the original design or style.
Eligible project categories are restoration, rehabilitation, adaptive use, neighborhood conservation and landscape preservation. Please see the Historical Commission’s webpage for more details.

At a May 2015 Selectmen’s meeting, winners will be presented with a report detailing the history of the house and neighborhood, list of owners, an in-depth architectural description·historic plaque for their home.

Please complete the nomination form and submit it to the Historical Commission by March 31, 2015.
