215th U.S. Army Band performs on Thursday, July 7th
Starting at 6:30 PM on the lawn at The First Church in Swampscott
The 2016 season of Concerts on the Terrace at The First Church in Swampscott opens on Thursday with the U.S. Army Band. The 40 piece band, part of the Massachusetts National Guard, serves the nation through music, and will be playing a program of patriotic tunes. The concert begins at 6:30 PM in the outdoor venue. Feel free to bring chairs and blankets, as well as picnic dinners. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase.
The concert is free and open to the public, and a free-will offering will be accepted. The First Church in Swampscott, Congregational, is located at 40 Monument Avenue in Swampscott. For more information, call 781 592-6081.
