5 Things to Know: Farmers' Market Notes
Farm fresh vegetables, fruit, flowers and herbs will be back in the high school parking lot June 9, at the Swampscott Farmers' Market. So will handcrafts, soups, breads and chowder.
1) Town and School Meeting Watch:
On Tuesday the Swampscott Board of Health meets at 6:15 p.m. at Town Hall and the Renewable Energy Committee meets at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.

Vendors returning from last season include Clark Farm, John Crow Farm, Maitland Mountain Farm, Grants Plants and Heavens Harvest with the new addition of Connors Farm in Danvers. You can also count on seeing McMahon's Salad Dressings, Big Sky Breads, Alfalfa Winery, The Soup Guy and several new additions like Nella home-made pasta, Mandy's Chowdah and Conditori Chocolates among several others.

3) Swampscott Scholars:
Tyler Marquis, highest honors, was named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire for the fall semester of the 2012-2013 academic year.
