Alleged North Shore Child Rapist Held Without Bail
Darryl Moore, 37, faces nine charges of child rape after an investigation into child porn.

NEWBURYPORT, MA — A North Shore man was held without bail after an investigation into child pornography revealed he allegedly raped a child. Darryl Moore, 37, was arraigned Friday in Newburyport District Court on child rape and pornography charges, the Essex County District Attorney's Office said.
Moore was allegedly depicted raping a child in images found during an investigation into child pornography charges he was facing. He was charged Friday with nine counts of aggravated rape of a child under 16, posing a child in sexual acts, drugging a person for sexual intercourse, and indecent assault and battery on a child under 14.
Moore was ordered held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing. He was being held on $100,000 bail following his July arraignment for possession and distribution of pornography.
