American Legion Takes Down North Andover 5-2

Saturday at Swampscott the Swampscott/Marblehead American Legion team beat an always tough North Andover team 5-2.
Starting pitcher Jake Cassidy went three innings with 5k's, 1 hit, 1 walk, 1 run  and Brandon Engstrom four innings with 5 k’s  3 hits  2 walks 1, run. Swampscott/Marblehead team is always tough with Colton Dana one of the area's best catchers calling the pitchers from behind the plate.
Offensively Robert Serino had two hits — a single and triple — Connor Green had two hits a double and single, Jake Cassidy had two base hits, and Kyle Waters had a base hit. Swampscott/Marblehead plays Methuen Sunday at 5 at home.
