SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Swampscott is asking residents to help shape how the town strengthens community connections, improves communication and makes it easier for people to access information, services and resources.
In a public call for feedback, the town said it wants to hear residents' ideas on those issues through a survey. The effort is part of the Commonwealth's Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness, or MVP, 2.0 Program.
The town said it is exploring several goals through the process.
Those include strengthening neighborhood connections, improving access to community resources, expanding communication networks, better supporting residents before, during and after emergencies, and building what it described as a more connected, resilient and inclusive Swampscott community.
