• Communities unite over Lynnway redesign (lynnfieldweeklynews.com) — Swampscott's Select Board has joined Marblehead and Nahant in formally asking state leaders to revisit the Lynnway Multimodal Corridor Project, warning that lane reductions on Route 1A could affect traffic and emergency response for Swampscott commuters. Local lawmakers are pushing for updated data, clear performance measures, and mitigation such as a shuttle linking Marblehead and Swampscott to the Swampscott commuter rail station during construction.
