Another Victory for Swampscott Girls Tennis

It was another great day on the courts for the girls varsity tennis team. We swept the singles and doubles.  Anna Raptunovich won at 1st singles 6-0, 6-0.  Freshman Vivien Gere won 6-0, 6-1 and Veronica Pyatigorskaya won at third singles 6-0, 6-0. Veronica and Vivien have only dropped two games in three matches!  Allegra Walker and Jessica Zolott are now 3 and 0 at first doubles with a 6-1, 6-3 win and Natalyia Andrushchenkes and Michelle Schnayder defeated their opponents at 2nd doubles 6-2,6-1. 

The singles players all had solid performances.  I was pleased to see an improvement in the communication with our doubles teams and actual implementation of some of the strategies we work on during practice.

We are hoping to play Danvers tomorrow due to a rain forcast on Friday.
