The Friends of the Swampscott Public Library will be hosting
an event entitled “A Tour of Massachusetts & Maine Craft Beer Tasting” on
Friday evening August 10th from 7:30-9:30pm. If you are interested
in learning about beer in a more informal session come to the library that
evening. The program will be presented by Maia Gosselin, the owner of Sip Wine
Education. The tasting lineup will include an array of limited-release, specialty and unique year-round beers from regional craft brewers such as Pretty Things, Harpoon, Notch, Samuel Adams, Baxter Brewing and more. The admission to this event is $20 per person and tickets may be purchased beginning July 25th. Everyone must be 21 years old to attend. Light appetizers will be
served. We will also hold a raffle for specialty beers during the evening.
Tickets for the raffle will be $5.00 each.
Proceeds go to the Friends of the Swampscott Public Library. Call the
library at 781-596-8867 for more information.
