Get Fit With Swampscott Recreation This Spring
The Recreation Department is lucky to have 3 great instructors teaching classes this Spring starting March 25th for less than joining a gym. The classes are held at Swampscott High School in the Dance Studio.
On Mondays and Thursdays from 6-7 pm Christine Hopkins and Kelli Howe teach Total Body Muscle Conditioning. This eight week program will develop cardio endurance, strength and flexibility. More importantly, you will feel great! Join Christine and Keli for a total body workout using a variety of resistance equipment including exercise bands, weights, the BOSU balance trainer, the TRX suspension trainer and the stability ball. Sign up for two classes a week and begin to see fitness results.
On Wednesday nights 6:30-7:30 we have Tabitha Keating Teaching Piloxing.Piloxing-uniquely mixes Pilates and Boxing moves into a fat torching,muscle-sculpting,core-centric interval workout guaranteed to whip you into shape,using a class format that's both fun and challenging. Piloxing blends the power,speed,and agility of boxing with the sculpting and flexibility of Pilates.
