The Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce will present a free seminar entitled : “Secrets to Establishing and Maintaining Your Business On-Line Health” on Wednesday, October 17th at the LACC office, 583 Chestnut Street, from 8am – 10am.
Guest presenter will be website developer Marvin Kane of Kaneworks, Inc.
With over 25 years of web development experience, Kane says “Online Health means having the following elements well integrated a well designed website that is optimized for mobile display, complete social profiles and some form of online marketing i.e. blog, eNewsletter, etc.”

This seminar will help you understand what a well designed website means say Kane. “For example, a website must be findable, likeable and usable.”
In addition, Kane will talk about social media; what it is and why our objections to using social media are wrong.

Attendees will be shown plenty of examples of everything he talks about, i.e. what makes a homepage good and what makes it bad; why blogging is important; what makes an effective E-newsletter, etc.
