Swampscott Girls Varsity Tennis Win First Match of the Season

The girls varsity tennis team won their season opener against Masco today 4 -1.  It was a great victory for a very young team.  Anna Raptunovich(10th grade) won at 1st singles 7-5,6-0.  Vivien Gere at second singles (9th grade) 6-0,6-1; Veronica Pyatigorskaya (10th grade) 6-0,6-1; 1st doubles Allegra Walker( senior captain) and Jessica Zolott (11th grade)  won 6-4,6-2.  Our only loss came at second doubles from a new combination and hard working team of Michelle Schnayder (10th grade) and Natalyia Andrushchenkes (12).
