Visit the ArcWorks Community Art Center Tent at International Festival

Peabody’s International Festival is right around the corner and there is so much to see and do and eat!

While you weave your way through downtown, please visit the ArcWorks Community Art Center tent. We will be located near the main art tent on Chestnut Street (right next to City Hall) and will be hosting three free demonstrations during the day.

At 1 p.m., you can see a demonstration of the traditional craft of chair caning and appreciate this meticulous process, which yields interesting patterns and textures. At 2 p.m., you can see some simple leather crafting in action. Peabody is the Leather City after all! Finally, at 3 p.m., the artists of Shine Jewelry will be keeping their hands busy with a beading demonstration. Hope to see you there!
