Charging Beagle; Wires Sparking: Swampscott Police

At 3:19 a.m., there was a report of wires sparking and on fire on Humphrey Street.

At 9:25 a.m., there was a report of a larceny on Paradise Road.

At 9:43 a.m., a criminal summons was issued for revoked registration, uninsured motor vehicle, and unregistered motor vehicle following a traffic stop on Elm Place.

At 11:24 a.m., the police got a tip over the internet about cars that were parked in violation of the no parking sign on Redington Street.

At 5:22 p.m., a pedestrian reported that she was walking her dog on Puritan Road when a beagle charged out of a yard at her.
