Coyote Wild?; Car into Pole: Swampscott Police

Friday, Feb. 19

At 1:53 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident at Farragut Road and Paradise Road.

At 3:12 p.m., there was an odor of gas on Greenwood Avenue. The fire department was notified.

At 5:40 p.m., a motor vehicle struck a pole on Paradise Road and the pole was leaning.

Saturday, Feb. 20

At 4:37 p.m., a caller on Greenwood Avenue reported hearing two loud explosions from the back of the old middle school.

Sunday, Feb. 21

At 1:43 a.m., there was a report of a car window that was tampered with on Plymouth Avenue.

At 10:02 a.m., there was a report of vandalism to a neighbor’s property on Elwin Street.

At 1:03 p.m., there was a report of credit cards found in the road on Young Avenue.

At 5:35 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident at Humphrey Street and Puritan Road.

At 8:58 p.m., a caller reported seeing a coyote in the middle of the road at Burrill Street and Middlesex Avenue.
