While the town will not hold a metal dropoff this month, the Department of Public Works will be open for styrofoam collection on Sunday.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Swampscott residents will quickly be able to get rid of their styrofoam packing and party supplies this holiday season.

While there will be no metal recycling in the town this month because Christmas falls on a Saturday, the town is opening the Department of Public Works yard on Sunday for Styrofoam collection.
