Drug Arrest; Habitual Traffic Offender: Swampscott Police

Tuesday, Feb. 23
At 12:22 p.m., police arrested Bryant Gaines, 26, of 101 Brookline Street in Lynn and charged him with possession of a Class A drug and on warrants.
At 2:37 p.m., police arrested Jonathan Escotto, 35, of 31 Stone Street in Revere and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with license revoked as a habitual traffic offender, a one-way street violation, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, subsequent offense.

At 3:57 p.m., a caller was concerned about dogs tied up outside with the falling temperatures.
At 9:24 p.m., a property owner on Humphrey Street reported that there was a person in a tent on his property and requested that police speak to him and have him vacate the property within the next few days.
