Early, In-Person Voting Dates Set For Swampscott Annual Town Election
The Swampscott Town Clerk's office announced early voting dates and the last day to register for the April 28 town election.
SWAMPSCOTT, MA — New Swampscott Town Clerk Katie Dupont has announced early, in-person voting dates and the last day to register for the April 28 annual town election.
Voters will go to the polls in April to vote for the Select Board, School Committee, Town Moderator, Library Trustee, Board of Health, Housing Board, Planning and Town Meeting members.
There is only one contested race on the ballot where four candidates are running for two open seats on the Select Board.

Wayne Godfrey, Wayne Spritz, Edward Dooley and Charlie Patsios are running for the two seats in an open election with current Select Board members Doug Thompson and David Grishman opting not to run for re-election.
Early, in-person voting will be held at Town Hall on April 21 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., April 22 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., April 23 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and April 24 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The last day to register to vote or update voter registration information is April 17 by 5 p.m.
The last day to apply to vote by mail is April 21 by 5 p.m.
