Employment Coordinator To Speak At Swampscott Veterans Breakfast

Veterans are invited to attend the monthly meeting at the Swampscott Veterans Center Saturday morning.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — An employment resource coordinator contracted with the Department of Labor's Off-Base Transition Training pilot program will be at Saturday's E.F. Gilmore Disabled American Veterans meeting to speak with veterans and their spouses about programs to improve and further their employment opportunities.

The meeting will be at 9:30 a.m. at the Swampscott Veterans Center on Pine Street. A complimentary breakfast will be served.

Speaker Kristine Babcock is the employment resource coordinator for Serco, which contracts with the Department of Labor to provide for veterans currently serving in the National Guard and Reserve, and their spouses, to engage in workshops to help them further their employment goals.

Any veteran interested in finding out what the DAV has to offer is also invited or needs to find out about the benefits they are entitled to is invited to attend.
