1) Newsbit of the Day: Town Planner Peter Kane will present the results of a community survey and an update on the grant application the town filed with the MAPC for a District Local Technical Assistance grant to perform a community vision study focusing on the Humphrey Street business district and the MBTA train station.

2) Swampscott Scholars: UMass Dartmouth student James Kappotis has been named to the Chancellor's List in recognition of earning a fall semester grade point average of 3.8 or higher of a possible 4.0:

3) Swampscott Athletics: Swampscott Little League is offering a baseball pitching, hitting and fielding clinic open to all registered Little League baseball players between the ages of 9-12 years old.  The clinic will be held from 4 pm -6 pm at the Swampscott High School Gym and will run for four more sessions: on the following Sundays: March 18, March 25, April 1, and April 15.
