Former Swampscott Middle School to Become Housing: ICYMI
The former Swampscott Middle School will soon be turned into housing units: in case you missed it.
SWAMPSCOTT, MA — More housing is coming to Swampscott as town officials continue the process of turning the old Swampscott Middle School on Greenwood Avenue into housing units.
The Board of Selectmen is currently formulating a request for proposals document to solicit contractors for the project. On Thur., Sept. 1, Selectmen Naomi Dreeban and Peter Spellios will host a public discussion on the contents of the RFP. The discussion will be held at the Swampscott library at 7 p.m.

The school closed in 2007. The new middle school is on Forest Avenue.
