Fundraising Effort For Beaver Family Gets Brisk Start
An online fundraising campaign set up for the Beaver family is already more than halfway to its goal of $5,000.
An online fundraising campaign for a Swampscott family evicted from their home is already more than halfway to its goal of raising $5,000.
As of late last night, two days into the campaign, http://www.indiegogo.com/thebeavers had generated $2,835 in contributions.

The campaign was started by Jason P. Stadtlander, a Swampscott father and author. Jason wants to pay it forward for a family that has helped others and that has strong local ties.
"What hit me most, is the children; Nashalayla, Jaz and Mirrell. They have friends all over this town and go to school with our children," he said.

What We Need & What You Get
What I am trying to raise is $5,000 to help them get back on their feet.
- $3,000 to help put a roof over their heads for 90 days until they can get themselves on their feet
- $1,500 to supply food for them for this period of time.
- $500 to help with clothes and school supplies for the children as well as storage for their belongings until they can get a place.
