Generosity runs “DEEP” in Swampscott
Uno Pizzeria & Grill collects donations of 174 Deep Dish Pizzas for My Brother's Table
Something as simple as pizza can make a difference. And thanks to the generosity of patrons of UNO Pizzeria & Grill in Swampscott, there will be plenty of cheesy deep dish goodness being served at My Brother’s Table this month. For the second consecutive year Uno Pizzeria & Grill Swampscott supported a special holiday program in which UNO guests could donate a regular size deep dish pizza to My Brother’s Table at a discounted rate of $5. UNO collected donations of 174 pizzas.
“That is a lot of pizza!” chuckles John Clifton, Managing Partner for the Swampscott UNO. “We are thankful to all of our generous guests for supporting this program and My Brother’s Table.”
Maria Coccimiglio, My Brother’s Table Development and Events Manager states, ““We are so grateful to all who purchased a pizza for this program. We are looking forward to having Uno’s back at the Table to serve pizza to our guests. Our guests enjoyed this special treat of Uno’s delicious pizza last year, I cannot wait to see their faces as they are in line for their pizza this year. We truly appreciate the generosity of the Swampscott UNO staff and its customers during this holiday season”.

The program culminates in a day of service for UNO’s managers, servers, and cooks. After the pizzas are prepared, UNO staff will deliver and serve their signature dish to the guests at My Brother’s Table. Clifton concludes, “For all of us, the volunteer day at MBT is the highlight of the whole program. We are privileged to serve our pizza to their guests.”
