'Hate Graffiti' Sprayed In Marblehead, Swampscott: Police

Swampscott police said the "racist" and "anti-Semitic" graffiti was sprayed on the rocks and walkway at Preston State Beach.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Racist and anti-Semitic graffiti was spray-painted on the rocks and walkway at Preston Beach Park in Swampscott and Marblehead overnight Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, according to police.

Swampscott police said the department "strongly condemns this hateful act, which is unacceptable in either of our communities."

Police from both communities are asking anyone who might have information about the graffiti to contact Swampscott police at 781-595-1111 or Marblehead police at 781-631-1212.
