Help Bring Seasonal Cheer To Families Of Swampscott Soldiers

Wreaths Across America is gathering donations to lay wreaths at veterans' graves at Swampscott Cemetary.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — The Disabled Veterans Chapter 64 of Lynn and Swampscott is looking to honor veterans and bring some seasonal joy to their families by placing wreaths at the graves of those who served at Swampscott Cemetary and Pine Grove Cemetary this holiday season.

The chapter is joining Wreaths Across America to build donations to purchase the wreaths and then place them at the graves. Each wreath is $15.

Those looking to donate to purchase a wreath or volunteer for the placement can do so here.

The deadline to sponsor a wreath is Nov. 29.

A placement ceremony will be held on Dec. 17 at Pine Grove Cemetery at 9 a.m. and at Swampscott Cemetery at 11 a.m.
