Husband Beat Wife To Death With Bat: Police

"Go ahead. Take me. I killed my wife," Miguel Castillo allegedly told officers who showed up to his Lynn apartment.

LYNN, MA — A man told police he killed his wife after beating her to death with a baseball bat inside their Lynn home, according to reports.

"Go ahead. Take me. I killed my wife," 55-year-old Miguel Castillo told officers who responded to his apartment Monday morning. The contents of the police reports - widely reported among several media outlets - portray a chilling scene at the Chase Street apartment.

Castillo is charged with killing 47-year-old Luz Acevedo. A not guilty plea was submitted on his behalf in Lynn District Court.

Castillo allegedly called his sister and confessed to killing his wife. His sister told their brother, who called police.

The Chase Street apartment is the same one an alleged rape and murder took place last year.
