'Irate' Customer Flings Bottle of Wine; Rollover Crash Leads to Arrest

At 8:20 a.m., a 4-month-old child was transported with unknown injuries after a mother dropped the baby while walking down the stairs.
At 12:10 p.m., a loose pit bull was reported on Stetson Avenue. The owner retrieved the dog.

At 5:31 p.m., a woman was reportedly screaming at the train depot.
At 5:55 p.m., a rollover motor vehicle accident resulted in an arrest. Eric Snow, 22, of Salem was charged with operating on a suspended license. He was also arrested on warrant charges including OUI drugs, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and operating on a suspended license. Snow was transported to Union Hospital for treatment of his injuries. The owner of the motor vehicle was to receive a criminal summons for allowing unlicensed operation.

At 9:59 p.m., a clerk at the Shell on Essex Street reported that a customer “became irate” when the clerk told him he could not get gas as it was closing time. The clerk said the customer grabbed a bottle of wine and threw it across the counter, striking the lottery machine. The suspect then fled the store.
