Local Food Pantry Provides Groceries For Robbery, Assault Victim
Swampscott Police are thanking a local food pantry for their help supporting a local resident who had been the victim of a robbery.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA – Swampscott Police are thanking a local food pantry for their help supporting a local resident who had been the victim of a robbery.
A senior resident was recently the victim of a robbery and assault, where a man took their wallet and stole money that was intended for groceries. The suspect has not yet been identified, according to police.
The police department connected with the Anchor Food Pantry, who supplied a week's worth of groceries to the resident. The food pantry has also started the process of supplying groceries going forward, according to police.

"A special thank you to Laura Spathanas, Diane O'Brien and Gina Bush for your assistance in helping out someone in need," the police department posted on its Facebook page. "Thank you again for all you do for our community."
