Lynn Man Arrested on Warrant for Failure to Register as Sex Offender

Thursday, March 26
At 11:30 a.m., Geraldo Garcia, 32, of Lynn was arrested following a motor vehicle stop for speeding. He was charged with driving on a suspended license (third offense) and speeding. Additionally, he was arrested on warrants for failure to register as a sex offender, larceny over $250 and driving on a suspended license.
At 4:07 p.m, a suspicious man was reportedly checking out houses and garages. Police located the man who was looking for a missing cat.

At 5:03 p.m., a woman reported her taxes had been fraudulently filed.
At 10:06 p.m., a caller reported a person slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle parked at Vinnin Liquors. Police were unable to locate the vehicle upon arrival.

At 11:24 p.m., a caller reported two suspicious looking men standing across from Newman’s Bakery. The suspected they may be intending to steal metal fixtures. Police spoke with the individuals.
