Man Tries to Force His Way into Fairview Avenue Residence
Plus, numerous stolen bicycles and tools that fell off a truck.

At 7:32 a.m., a person came into the station to report that a vehicle had been struck near the train depot and the reporting party wasn’t sure whether anyone had left information.
At 8:47 a.m., a wire was reported to be hanging down between a house and pole. Verizon was notified.

At 9:24 a.m., an officer located tools that fell off a truck and recovered them.

At 9:51 a.m., a sergeant came upon an open door and found it to have been a breaking and entering situation on Greenwood Avenue. The log notes that teens had been breaking in there.
At 11:09 a.m., a past shoplifting incident at Marshall’s was reported.
At 3:26 p.m., larceny was reported on Bradlee Avenue.
At 3:57 p.m., a caller reported past larceny of a bicycle on Pleasant Street.
At 6:40 p.m., a caller reported a bicycle had been stolen from the area of Railroad Avenue and Burrill Street.
At 8:22 p.m., a caller requested help and immediately hung up. Police found that a white male had attempted to force his way into a residence on Fairview Avenue and fled in a small red motor vehicle.
