Marblehead, Swampscott Hazardous Waste Pickup Sept. 15

Because of the coronavirus crisis, the towns are collaborating to pick up materials at houses instead of holding a drop-off event.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead and Swampscott are combining to provide pickup for household hazardous waste items once again this fall on Sept. 15.

The towns have altered their recycling program this year to pick up items at houses because of the coronavirus health crisis.

Oil paint, latex paint, gasoline, pesticides, auto batteries, acidic cleaning products, antifreeze, pool chemicals and other similar items can be left curbside where the waste management company ACV Enviro will remove them.
