Mechanical Shark Heads To Swampscott For Marine & Harbor Fest

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — You may have seen folks try to survive a ride on a mechanical bull for eight seconds.

But how long can you last on an inflatable, mechanical shark?

North Shore residents will get their chance to find out on Saturday at the Swampscott Marine & Harbor Fest.

The Fisherman's Beach festival will also include a boat showcase, marine vendors, craft and artisan vendors, music, food trucks and activities for kids.

The Swampscott Recreation and Swampscott Yacht Club are presenting the festival from noon to 5 p.m.
