Meet Sora: Swampscott's New Community Comfort Dog
Sora will be on hand at all Swampscott public schools as well as community and police events.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — The popular new kid in town has paws.
The Swampscott Police Department and Swampscott Public Schools have introduced Sora, the town's new comfort and therapy dog, who is assigned to Swampscott School Resource Officer Brian Wilson.
Sora will be accompanying Officer Wilson in his work at all five of the town's public schools as well as appearing at police and community events.

"This vision began a year ago with Superintendent (Pamela) Angelakis," Swampscott police said, "and we are here because of her and Chief (Ruben) Quesada's support."
Officer Wilson and Sora invite residents to come over the meet the department's newest recruit when they see the duo around town in the next weeks and months.
